Imagine being part of a connected group of changemakers, coming together to protect democracy. RAC Circles are power-packed gatherings where you share ideas and take action to protect and expand democracy. From lively discussions to hands-on activities, RAC Circles are where the magic happens.
Let the civic engagement begin!
To get started, follow these simple steps:
- Find 5 people! RAC Circles include at least 5 people gathering regularly. Members of RAC Circles should have something in common! Perhaps common geography, community, or a shared identity or affinity. Groups can gather in-person or online.
- Designate 1-2 conveners. Conveners facilitate communication among circle members and with the RAC/URJ. One of your conveners will sign up with us here.
- Decide on your first gathering. RAC Circles ideally gather at least once a month, and we recommend that each gathering includes community and relationship building, Jewish ritual or learning, and an action to protect and expand democracy.
- After your first gathering, let us know how it went and how we at the RAC can help!
Leadership Tools
We are most powerful when we move our communities into action. As leaders, we can invite others to play a role in mobilizing voters throughout the country. Visit the Trainings and Resources page for more information.
