Highlights from the 2024-2025 L'Taken Season

Over the 2024-2025 season, we brought 1,800 Jewish high schoolers from across the US to join us in Washington, D.C. over our five seminars. They visited the sites, met other Reform teens from coast to coast, learned about social justice and advocacy, and made their voices heard on Capitol Hill.

I enjoyed text-banking Ohio voters about the Citizens Not Politicians amendment through the RAC’s non-partisan Every Voice, Every Vote campaign. I felt that I was doing my part to repair the world while I was empowered by engaging with voters.

Georgia voters have, for many years, received a sticker on the way out of our polling places - a peach saying "I'm a Georgia Voter." But in 2020, a tagline was added to the peach: "I SECURED MY VOTE!"

As we celebrate Disability Pride Month in July and the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26th, we think about all the progress that's been made and the work that is left to do around disability justice in the United States.
