Our Jewish story teaches that our collective safety depends on society protecting the rights of every individual. As we gather in our synagogues, under the canopy of the sukkah, and in early childhood centers, immigrants across the country are facing the threat of their holy spaces and other essential service centers being raided by immigration enforcement officers. Let's elevate the powerful image of the sukkah to be more than a reminder of our history as migrants. Let the sukkah, a symbol of hospitality and humility, also serve as a representation of everyone’s right to access safe spaces of worship and critical educational and medical services.

May this Sukkot serve as a call to action to defend due process, immigrants, and democracy. We’re asking you to join us in ensuring that immigrants can worship freely and access critical educational and health services. Learn how to take action to protect immigrants at the national and local levels with these resources.
