January 6, 2025Rabbi Michael Namath

We’re excited to announce several new staff shifts as we begin the new year! These changes reflect our commitment to growth and innovation while aligning with our organizational goals. Rabbi Lindsey Danziger will step into the role of Director of Campaigns; Ben Elkind will be the Director of Organizing; and Jacob Kraus-Preminger will be the Associate Director of Campaigns. Please join us in congratulating them and supporting them in these new positions as we look forward to a successful year ahead!

Rabbi Lindsey Danziger will be the Director of Campaigns. She will lead the strategic planning and execution of North American campaigns focused on domestic issues and Israel. These campaigns build community and power for change as well as help to retain and expand the base.  Lindsey came to the Religious Action Center (RAC) in 2017 as our Ohio organizer, helping build the second state organizing project.

In 2021, Lindsey returned to the RAC after a 9-month departure when she directed the organizing work of Zioness. When Lindsey returned, she oversaw organizing in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio. Through her work in Ohio, she has developed a strong leadership team and, most recently lead a powerful 2023 campaign that contacted over 580,000 voters to successfully protect reproductive freedom. She is managing the 2025 World Zionist Congress campaign and has already built a wide leadership team to turn out voters for the Reform Movement in the election beginning March 10th.

Ben Elkind will be the Director of Organizing. He will continue to work with RAC-NY as well as lead and oversee grassroots mobilization efforts across the state projects. The state projects build community and power for change as well as help to retain and expand the base. During his time leading RAC-NY, he has developed a strong leadership team and lead a ballot initiative campaign to help pass The NY Equal Rights Amendment and led RAC-NY's Climate Covenant a multi-year campaign aimed at combating climate change by reducing New York's reliance on fossil fuels.

Ben joined the RAC after participating in the Jewish Organizing Institute and Network Boston-based Fellowship, organizing with the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, directing J Street U organizing, and receiving a graduate degree in Public Administration.

Jacob Kraus-Preminger will be the Assistant Director of Campaigns. In this role he will be working with RAC-OH as well as supporting North American campaigns. Jacob has built a leadership team and led the Every Voice, Every Vote campaigns through which thousands of leaders have contacted 1.5 million voters. Jacob also brings a wealth of experience from his organizing work in Minneapolis and Cincinnati.
