WASHINGTON – In response to last night’s terrorist attack in London, which left seven victims dead and dozens more injured, Rabbi Jonah Dov Pesner, Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, issued the following statement on behalf of the Union for Reform Judaism, Central Conference of American Rabbis and wider Reform Movement:

"The attacks yesterday in London are horrifying and heartbreaking. We pray for those who were killed and injured even as we pray for an end to these types of violent assaults on humanity. Those who perpetrate such heinous acts seek to instill fear and division. May the world respond with a shared commitment to respect the holiness of every human being, affirm of the right of all people to live in freedom without fear, and to hold to account those who commit acts of violence."
