Travelers Aid Booth

Volunteers from the Temple, staff the Traveler's Aid information booth at the airport.

Every year, volunteers from the Temple staff the Travelers Aid information booth at the airport on December 24 and 25. During the busy holiday period at the airport, Traveler's aid is called on for a number of services- such as assisting with direction and information, assisting military service people trying to get home for the holiday, paging lost parties, distributing maps and brochures, and assisting with social service problems.

Volunteers work at the Traveler's AId booth from mid-day on December 24 until late on the night of the 25th, to allow the usual Travelers Aid staff to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with their families.

This mitzvah project is coordinated by Temple B'nai Israel Social Action Committee
