Union for Reform Judaism Statement on Funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program

May 1, 2026 - Yesterday’s congressional vote funding the vital Nonprofit Security Grant Program is a positive step. But it’s not enough to meet the scope of the challenge we face. Congress and the White House need to work with the Jewish community to boost funding and take other meaningful action amidst growing and dangerous antisemitic attacks targeting Jews and Jewish institutions.
