The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism to host pre-March worship service
WASHINGTON – On Monday, August 28, over 300 Reform Jewish rabbis, cantors, and activists will join the Ministers March for Justice, beginning at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and ending at the U.S. Department of Justice. The interfaith march, commemorating the 54th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, will focus on voting rights, health care, criminal justice reform, and economic justice. The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism is an endorser of the March, which is being organized by the National Action Network.
Before the March begins, the Religious Action Center, in partnership with the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and American Conference of Cantors will a host a worship experience at the nearby Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
