RAC Machon Kaplan

Machon Kaplan Summer Opportunities

Machon Kaplan was established to give Jewish college students an opportunity to experience Washington, D.C., and put their Jewish values to work in support of social justice. Starting this summer, we are re-envisioning the program. Rather than limiting our engagement to only the 20-30 students who sign up for our program, we are expanding and redirecting our summer offerings by creating a series of events open to the hundreds of Jewish college students who come to Washington every summer. More details will be available at the end of December.

Machon Kaplan Summer Internship Program

Through our program, Machon Kaplan students have interned at organizations ranging from the NAACP to the National Partnership for Women and Families. Learn about the organizations where you could be spending your summer!

"I was a Reform Jew, an activist, an intern and a student." "This is the most exciting thing I have ever done,' said Emily Berman."

Machon Kaplan interns have a unique experience, and Washington, D.C. takes notice. Read what past students, organizations, and the media have to say about MK interns.
