How will your action and advocacy during L'Taken make an impact beyond the four days you spend in DC? We know that our collective voice is much more powerful than our collective voice. When we share with lawmakers about the changes that we want to see in our nation, we move one step closer to tikkun olam, repairing the world.

THE IMPACT OF L'TAKEN ON CONGRESS
Representative Danny Davis (IL-7) was so moved by the speech that he heard from a L'Taken participant that he took it directly to the House floor and read it word-for-word. Watch the video.
There are so many bills that pass through the House and Senate, congresspeople often don't know about bills that are meaningful to us. Hearing from L'Taken participants is sometimes the first time that they hear about a piece of legislation. Not only do we educate them about the bills, but they have been persuaded by our participants to cosponsor or even sign bills!
