Celebrate Sukkot and Social Justice with Washington Hebrew Congregation and Dan Nichols

Join Washington Hebrew Congregation (virtually or in person!) on Sunday, September 27 at 4:30 pm ET for an evening of rocking out with Dan Nichols & Eighteen and the D.C. premiere of Road to Eden, a new documentary film that captures Judaism's teachings about our connection to the earth, the fragility of existence, and our struggle to create a perfect world.

From Jewish rock anthems to moving interpretations of traditional liturgy, Dan Nichols & Eighteen bring an infectious energy and spirit to the stage. Dan's positive message of Jewish values, identity, and pride resonate with all ages.

Crafted around Dan Nichols and his band Eighteen—one of the most influential Jewish rock bands in the country—Road to Eden follows them as they tour the Deep South during the festival of Sukkot. Along their journey, they meet individuals who help them shed new light on injustice in the U.S., forge interfaith bonds, and celebrate the complicated miracles of life.
