Election season is upon us! Here is your 2024 New Jersey voting logistics update - and we would love it if you would share your voting plan with us. Read through this email and then tell us your plan.

Voter Registration Logistics

New Jersey's deadline to register to vote in the 2024 election is Tuesday, October 15. You can register to vote online or check your voter registration status. And if you are frustrated that New Jersey's legislature still hasn't moved the same-day voter registration bill, please tell your state legislators.

Vote By Mail

If you are already a vote-by-mail voter, you should have already received your vote-by-mail ballot in the mail.

If you have not yet received your vote by mail ballot or if you have not yet applied for one and you want to vote by mail, you can find your county's vote-by-mail ballot application online. Once you've completed your vote-by-mail ballot, you can return it at any of your county's secure ballot drop boxes. The list of drop box locations is available on the state website. Your ballot must be either postmarked by 8 pm on Election Day or placed in one of the drop boxes by 8 pm on Election Day. The drop boxes are available 24/7 until Election Day.

Early In Person Voting

New Jersey now offers early in-person voting. This is the first time New Jerseyans can vote early in a Presidential Election! You can vote early in person at any of your county's early voting sites. Each county's early voting locations can be found online. Early voting begins on Saturday, October 26 at 10 AM and ends at 6 PM on Sunday, November 3. Early voting sites are open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and on Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Vote At Your Designated Polling Location on Election Day

If you are planning to vote on Election Day, find your designated polling location. Polls are open on Election Day from 6 AM to 8 PM. If you are in line to vote by 8 PM on Election Day, you will be able to cast your ballot!

Track Your Ballot

Especially if you are a vote by mail voter, you can track the status of your ballot. Use this link and make an account to ensure that your voice is heard and your vote is counted! Your vote is your voice and your power. Use it!
