RAC Teen Justice Fellowship Empowers Teen Organizers

In the seven years since the RAC Teen Justice Fellowship began, we have seen that teens can create extraordinary change. In the 2023-2024 school year, more than 170 young people from 33 states and provinces were trained as Teen Justice Fellows. These teens see injustice in the world and are united in their dedication to helping repair it.

Hate Crimes in 2021: An Incomplete Picture

Last week, the FBI released its annual compilation of hate crimes statistics, summarizing all hate crimes reported to the FBI in 2021. While the statistics themselves are grim and disturbing, the most alarming statistic in this year’s announcement is what was not reported. While underreporting of hate crimes has been an ongoing issue, this report is more inaccurate than usual.
