Olivia Kogan (she/her) is an Eisendrath Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. She graduated from Elon University with a BA in Human Service Studies and minors in Poverty and Social Justice, Policy Studies, and Jewish Studies.
Earlier this month, we attended the Black Maternal Health Week 2025 Congressional Briefing by the Black Maternal Health Federal Policy Collective and The Century Foundation. As soon as we walked in the room, we felt a sense of camaraderie and hope as we saw so many others passionate about maternal health.
