Jessica Cadmus (she/her/hers) is the Linda Rae Sher Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and Women of Reform Judaism. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Political Science and Justice Studies and a minor in Family and Human Development. Her policy portfolio includes reproductive health and rights, gender equity, education, and supporting Women of Reform Judaism.

Earlier this month, we attended the Black Maternal Health Week 2025 Congressional Briefing by the Black Maternal Health Federal Policy Collective and The Century Foundation. As soon as we walked in the room, we felt a sense of camaraderie and hope as we saw so many others passionate about maternal health.
