The themes of the holiday season transcend religious boundaries, but have particular significance for Reform Jews in America. Welcoming the stranger to our table and giving thanks for the many gifts bestowed upon us are common values in Jewish life. While we give thanks, however, we should also be mindful of those who so desperately need our help.
Below are holiday guides for many of the Jewish holidays, as well as a list of 10 easy ways for you to incorporate social justice into your holiday plans. Included are volunteer and donation opportunities for food banks, advocacy tools and environmental initiatives you can be part of, as well as five ways you can help ensure that all families across America enjoy a season free of fear and filled with hope.
