Goals:
- Provide a spiritual outlet for Jewish inmates at area prisons.
- Engage congregants in dialogue about issues of criminal justice.
Overview:
Congregants volunteer to conduct Shabbat services once a month at two area prisons. The synagogue has also conducted a Pesach seder at both prisons.
In addition to the services, synagogues can formulate a support group or dialogue group between the inmates and congregants.
