Thank you for recommending an applicant to the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism's Machon Kaplan Summer Social Justice Program.
Please submit your recommendation by February 1, 2014.
Machon Kaplan (www.rac.org/mk) is an internship program for undergraduate students interested in Judaism and social justice. Based in Washington, D.C., it provides students with a meaningful social justice internship, the opportunity to engage in academic study related to their internships, and a community of like-minded students with whom to share their experience.
Your letter of recommendation should accurately reflect the applicant's capabilities as demonstrated in his/her work or study, strengths and weaknesses, and potential for future leadership.
Your letter should describe the overall nature of the applicant in relation to the following criteria:
Jewish Background and commitment
Example of strengths and weaknesses of performance
Emotional maturity and stability
Ability to adapt to new situations
Capacity for independent work
Unique skills or qualities
