Arizona – Minimum Wage
Proposition 202, the Raise the Minimum Wage for Working Arizonans Act, would raise the minimum wage from $5.15 per hour to $6.75 per hour.
Arizona - Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on Proposition 107, a constitutional amendment that would declare marriage to be a union between one man and one woman.
Colorado – Domestic Partnerships
Voters will be asked to vote on Referendum I, which would establish a domestic partner system in Colorado. Same sex couples would be able to register as domestic partners, and they would receive a wide range of benefits.
Colorado – Minimum Wage
Amendment 42 would raise the minimum wage from $5.15 per hour to $6.85 per hour, increase the minimum wage for tipped workers by $1.70 an hour, and provide an annual cost of living adjustment to make sure the state minimum wage increases with the cost of living.
Idaho - Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on a constitutional amendment that would declare marriage to be a union between one man and one woman.
Michigan – Affirmative Action
Proposal 2 would amend the state constitution to ban affirmative action programs
Missouri – Minimum Wage
Proposition B, Missouri's ballot initiative, would raise the state minimum wage to $6.50 per hour on January 1, 2007. The wage would be indexed to inflation to keep pace with the cost of living in Missouri.
Missouri - Stem Cell Research
Constitutional Amendment 2 would “allow Missouri patients and researchers access to any method of stem cell research, therapies and cures permitted under federal law.
Montana – Minimum Wage
I-151 would raise Montana’s minimum wage to $6.15 an hour and provide for an annual cost of living adjustment.
Nevada – Minimum Wage
The Nevada minimum wage amendment, “Question 6,” would raise the minimum wage from $5.15 to $6.16 per hour.
Ohio – Minimum Wage
The Ohio Fair Minimum Wage Amendment #2 would raise the minimum wage from $5.15 to $6.85 per hour beginning January 1, 2007. The minimum wage will increase every year if the cost of living rises.
South Carolina – Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on a constitutional amendment that would define marriage only between one man and one woman.
South Dakota – Reproductive Rights
On November 7th, voters in South Dakota will have the opportunity to vote on Referred Law 6 and overturn what is currently the most harmful state abortion ban in the country.
South Dakota – Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on constitutional Amendment C that would declare marriage to be the union between one man and one woman. It also would restrict any other form of legal recognition for same sex partners.
Tennessee - Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on Amendment 1, which would amend the state constitution to declare marriage to be a union between one man and one woman.
Virginia – Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on Amendment #1, which would amend the Commonwealth’s constitution to declare marriage to be a union between one man and one woman.
Wisconsin – Death Penalty
Voters are being asked to vote on a non-binding referendum that asks whether the death penalty should be enacted for people that have been “convicted of first-degree intentional homicide, if the conviction is supported by DNA evidence.”
Wisconsin - Same Sex Marriage
Voters are being asked to vote on a state constitutional amendment that would declare that only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.
