Congressional Advocacy Day
Congressional Advocacy Day is an opportunity for people of conscience to make their voices heard on Capitol Hill.
Sign up to take part in the Save Darfur Coalition's Advocacy Day, Monday, May 1, 2006.
We schedule the appointment, train you that morning, and send you to the meetings with other people who care about helping to bring about an end to this genocide.
Please invite your friends to register, to talk to their legislators, and to participate in our democracy.
How do I participate in Congressional Education Day/Advocacy Day?
You register as an individual and join a delegation of other people from you state.
Should I make an appointment with my congress person before I register?
NO! The Save Darfur Coalition will make the appointment - so please register here!
What if I have never met with a member of Congress before?
This is a great time for your first Congressional visit. The Save Darfur Coalition will hold a mandatory training for each delegation on Monday morning. You will be fully prepared for your meeting with your legislator and we will supply you with written materials.
