Many Reform Congregations have been extremely active in raising awareness and funds about the crisis in Darfur. Here is a short summary of ongoing and past events.
The Reform Movement has been a leading voice for the end of the violence in Sudan. Here, see past actions and campaigns as well as Jewish values and Darfur.
Sudan has become a much talked about issue within the Jewish community and in Washington. But, unfortunately, the difference being made in the lives of Darfurians is questionable. Words ring hollow without actions taken to prevent the continued genocide.
