It is with great pride and affection that I share with you that the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism will honor Judge David Davidson at the upcoming Consultation on Conscience conference, April 21-23, 2013. We will pay special tribute to Judge Davidson on Sunday night, April 21, 2013 at Washington Hebrew Congregation as part of the Consultation's traditional community-wide keynote program.
Social Action and Social Justice have always been a part of Judge Davidson's identity. He has worked tirelessly to strengthen our world and our Movement through his time as member, task force chair and chair of the Commission on Social Action of Reform Judaism. Throughout and since, Judge Davidson has generously shared his valuable legal expertise, particularly in the area of labor law, economic justice and the separation of church and state, as a RAC volunteer and advisor.
His wisdom, sound judgment, and passion for tikkun olam have benefitted the RAC, the CSA and the Reform Movement. We are excited by this opportunity to thank Judge Davidson for his tireless commitment to our Movement and its social justice values. Read our profile of Judge Davidson as part of our 50 Faces of Justice series.
I hope you will consider placing an ad in the Consultation on Conscience's program book and help pay well-deserved tribute to our friend, teacher and colleague. Deadline for ads is April 14, 2013.
